My NUS admission letter!! \(^o^)/ yay!

Hi readers!! It's been quite a while since the last time I post, which was last week! First and foremost, before I start writing about the above-mentioned admission letter, I would like to tell you that, yeah, I am aware that there is actually no "real reader" or "follower" in my blog (so far) after all. It turns out that most of the traffic comes from some advertising company (I do not know why they would want to visit my humble blog) and those people googling the keyword "sutd interview" and accidentally stumbled upon my post about my, well, SUTD interview (duh). Just for your information, that post is on the bottom of the second result page for that query!! Ha!! Beat that!! (Proud of myself) Anyway, that is the reason why people may stumble upon my blog, read my sub-standard description of the interview, and leave immediately (at least that is what I imagined actually happened). Strangely enough, that post was visited even when (I thought) the round of interview from SUTD is over. Their academic year starts in May so it is not possible that they are still interviewing candidate within the last two weeks, right?

Before starting, I also want to complain about Blogger's html editor! It is really weird... If you are a blogger at Blogger (lame joke intended) you will know what I mean; the two buttons at the top left hand corner just beside the formatting buttons. There are two buttons: Compose and HTML. Since I am currently learning HTML and JavaScript programming as a way to pass time (more on that for another post, hopefully coming soon!), I would like to apply my knowledge by using the html editor instead of the compose editor. However, for some weird reason, Blogger does not seem to recognize <p> element and instead keep changing it to <br/> whenever I switch into compose editor mode. What's the big deal, you may ask? Well, for me, it is really annoying! I mean, if you use <p>, the browser will know that whatever you are writing is a paragraph, so it will process it accordingly; like giving some spacing after and before each paragraph, and make it looks easier to the eye. On the other hand, If you use the <br/> method which is the default in Blogger, you will need to put <br/> (or press enter, in the layman term) twice to achieve the same/similar result. I don't like to do it. I mean, it is the same as pressing enter thousands of times to get to the next page in Ms. Word, when you can just press Ctrl + Enter (which is the shortcut for Page Break).

Complains and other trivial things aside, my main intention of posting this is to announce the arrival of the long awaited...... my NUS admission letter!!! Wooohooo!!

Sorry for the blurred part. I wish to remain anonymous, remember?

It was sent on 12th, according to the NUS application website, but well, my home country being my home country, the air mail only reached me 11 days later, aka 23rd, just 2 days ago! Nevertheless, despite the rather long delay, I am still grateful that it reaches before May, as it is the month when everything will go crazy again: Hostel application, NTU Financial Aid application (no, I am not rich), scholarship interviews..... The letter arriving before May is really a blessing because I would have enough time to digest everything that is going to happen at the second half of the year as well as the procedure, the documents and other stuff needed for the whatever application on May.

Okay, so, that is all for now. If any of you actually wondering, I am admitted to the School of Computing (Computer Science Courses) of NUS. =) If any of you have anything you would like to say, by all means, say it in the comment! It will give me extra energy to keep this blog kicking and alive, not to mention posting more quality stuff that you guys actually care about! (Like about SUTD interview) Or maybe, if you are a blogger at Blogger (lame joke intended) and know how to make the html editor to override the compose editor, please, please please, tell me on the comment section!! Thank you very much for dropping by! =)
