Pre-(belated-)mid-year evaluation updates

Hi readers! Did not expect me to write so soon after only 1 month? Actually it felt much longer than 1 month since the last time I wrote. So much has happened in the last 1 month compared to like the whole semester last semester that it felt like I shouldn't have done so much in such a short amount of time.

About a week after I wrote the last post, I attended my graduation ceremony, spending time with family in Singapore and stuff. The following week I went back to Indonesia just so that I could celebrate my birthday with my family (after 3 years celebrating it somewhere else). Then I went to Singapore to start working. The first week of work was orientation, meeting a lot of people doing a lot of stuff I don't usually do previously (such as socializing and networking lol) and the following week I flew to the US for my second part of orientation! I was (still am) here for 2 weeks, and because of various reasons, I didn't attend some of the orientation classes and instead traveled around with my other new hire friends who had been in the Bay Area before.

I'm not sure why I didn't do my mid-year check/evaluation on my previous post since it seems to be more appropriate as it is exactly in the middle of the year, but anyway now I got really busy that I don't have time to get into the mood and spend time writing a reflection. This is just a post to mark that I am putting in an effort to do that :p

Hopefully after I returned from the US I will have more time to write a mid-year reflection/evaluation.

Hi, readers. It is quite a joy to see that my blog has reached more than 200 pageviews while I was away doing... many stuff. First interview: SUTD

Good GOD!! Today my series of universities and scholarships interviews have started and I only have 2 posts on my blog!! So, this morning is the first of the interview series, which is the SUTD Skype-based admission interview. For the benefit of those who do not know, SUTD stands for Singapore University of Technology and Design. As I heard from my friends, it is not overly formal interview where the interviewers' goal is to know me better and see whether I am fit to be in the university. There were 2 interviewers, with a handful of moderators, according to the voices I heard in the background, possibly 1-3 of them. Basically, the questions are as follows (as far as I remember): 1. Tell me more about yourself 2. What course are you going to choose if you are admitted to SUTD? 3. Do you have any role model? 4. Of Squandering My Blessings and Courage to Fight Against My Conditioning

 Hi readers, it's been a while, as usual. And of course, I didn't (or haven't) finish my supposed multi-part story of my Thailand trip!
